About MECRETE

MECRETE is a Cairo-based engineering firm providing structural design services and solutions to contractors, developers, and architects across multiple regions.

Our Story

Established by Essmat Elrefaie in April 1983 under the name JANIC, our main business focus was construction. Mohamed Elrefaie and Mai Elrefaie, both graduates from the Faculty of Engineering (2002 and 2004 respectively), added consultancy services to the business in 2005. In 2019, the company was rebranded from JANIC to MECRETE.

Today, MECRETE is an established engineering firm dedicated to providing structural design services and solutions to contractors, developers, and architects in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

We work hard to deliver high-quality and cost-effective engineering solutions to our clients. We believe providing the best service is achieved by studying all possible solutions. In the process, we do not put limits to our thinking or imagination. We investigate all possible ways to come up with new ideas that give our work the highest value, while considering the latest technologies in the construction industry with respect to project conditions.
